Here is a link to the City of Port Townsend Code of Ethics. It's lovely first paragraphs state the prime directives of City Ethics Code. It's later paragraphs state specifics, like manner and frequency of disclosures by public officials. These prime directives protect citizens, and describe how government is to maintain its highest standards, maintain the people's trust in government, and serve the community of Port Townsend.
